Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken in the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street.

I managed to take a few shots while waiting for the traffic lights to change - and while no one was bumping into me.

The street reminded me of Saturday afternoon in a busy city - but this was 9pm on a Sunday night.

This shopping area is also a showcase of traditional Cantonese architecture - as well as neon sign manufacturers!

Prices here are generally lower than at the popular Beijing Lu Pedestrian Street, but you need to bargain a fair bit.

Liwan Plaza, located at the east end of the street sells a good selection of crystal.

Hello Andrew. I like this colourful street scene. The ornaments hangong over the street and the atmosphere of the place and moment make this image very interesting and attractive. Good saturation of colours on this busy place. Thanks Andrew.

Lovely light scene here with the white signs convering into the depth, the lanterns also form a nice frame. relatively good sharpness, for I think you handheld the pic. Well done.

This is a nice colourful picture, the shopping street with all the people in good mood, also a mini sign of MAC the known food specialist, I think Andrew that as foreigner very difficult are must for there the live, perhaps pleasant for shopping but live this is the question.
