[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During winter to early spring, the empty rice terrace is filed with spring water from the forest above to rejuvenate and prepared the terrace for the next season. The Hani people have repeated this for more than a thousand years.

This is a classical Yuanyang Rice Terrace shot; the calm morning and the still water in the empty Rice terraces act as mirrors reflecting sun light from the morning sky

I re-visited Yuanyang in Mar 2007.
