Very eye catching shot, with some really beautiful colours. This is quite good considering how dark it usually is in the theatre - the 5D seems to work wonders in low light. Well done!

Το καλοκαίρι του 1991 στην Κέρκυρα στο παλιό κάστρο είχα δει έναν Κινέζικο θίασο που είχε παίξει με κινέζικο τρόπο την Μήδεια, κάτι που δεν πρόκειται να το ξεχάσω ποτέ, εμένα με είχε συνεπάρει.
Η φωτογραφία σου είναι παρα πολύ καλή, ο φωτισμός της πετυχημένος και η στιγμή απεικονίζεται όμορφα.

Thanks to bring us to the colorful Chinese theater and we can see quite well the actors wearing traditional costume in different poses. Exposure is good considering the distance without the use of flash. Nice framing as well...

:D Danos this is just beautiful. I love the aesthetic qualities of Chinese art. They use wonderful colors and minimal aesthetics. And soooo gentle. You were lucky to attend this theatre, and we are of course lucky to see these wonderful colors.

Hi Danos,
I have an impression that theatre over the wants to provide colour and action instead of realism. And that surely provides better photo opportunities. Costumes and the flower in the background look great. Could be framed a bit tighter.

Καλώς ήλθες πίσω! Δεν ξέρω για ποιούς λόγους ταξίδεψες στην Κίνα (επαγγελματικούς, αναψυχή;), πάντως φωτογραφικά το ταξίδι αποδείχθηκε πολύ επικοδομητικό. Εξαιρετική φωτογραφία κάτω απο δύσκολες συνθήκες. Εξαιρετική σύνθεση και χρώματα. Απίστευτη οξύτητα για τέτοιο χρόνο έκθεσης. Συγχαρητήρια!

Olá Danos, quite an interesting capture, not so easy to find in this site. The result is very good, considering the light conditions you had. The darker parts on top and bottom gave a nice panoramic effect that works perfectly here. The scene is attractive and with wonderful colors. That flower in the back makes a strong visual impact. Very well done!

An excellent capture. The colours of the BG are very good & the contrasts of the dresses of the palyers with the BG come off very well. It's not easy to take such shots & that's why this is all the more admirable.
