The qípáo (旗袍) also known as the cheongsam or mandarin gown, is a body-hugging (after Shanghai modification) one-piece dress for women.

Was she posing for you? I am sure that in many western countries she would not be dressed at all for any body painting. Just, different cultures. I particularly like to see the beautiful painter concentration. Well done.

Very good sharp and definitive photo that is nicely composed in its frame.

Nice shot Chris;

The colors are quite bold here, the sharpness is superb and the composition is interesting. I wonder how long she had to hold the pose for...?

I do however find it rather diheartening that you've posted 73 images here on TrekEarth and critiqued/ commented on 4 (not one since July of last year). Would be nice to see you contribute a bit more to the site...

Regards,
- Dan

Hello Chris,

Her body looks like a mannequine, fine colors and interesting 旗袍 presentation.

Mike

Pity about the underwear. Otherwise it qualifies as body painting!
