[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mongkok metro station, probably one of the crowdiest places on the globe, but you see, that also at such places you find pictures which show a kind of "still life" atmosphere with few people. How would the great Dutch painters like Vermeer and van Dyck paint their still lifes if they lived in today´s global world cities?

A resonant image of today's alienation made through a sophisticated pair of eyes. THe corner of the wall that divides a chasm between uncommunicative souls, the impersonal face on the wall, movement of 'faceless' people....a rather haunting image.

Hallo Frank,

I like how you isolated these two people with the exception of the huge eyes in this busy enviornment. I like your composition especially.. How you got the corner with two different scenes on each side and all. HK looks to be a very photogenic city.

Tschuess,
Brian
