See previous day's post of hippo with dragonfly.
I was quite a distance from the dragonfly, which was perched on a cement hippo in the middle of a pond in Hong Kong. So having just purchased my Canon PowerShot with 12x optical zoom, I was keen to try it out. Actually I'm a little surprised that this shot is fairly sharp, as although the camera has image stabiliser, my hands still shake, and the further you zoom, the whole shaking effect is magnified!! But I didn't have my tripod with me, so I crossed my fingers & went with it anyways.
