Photographer’s Note
The photo is taken from a boat going back and forth Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. It is taken in the morning and the morning was quite foggy and smoggy in Hong Kong, by the day the sky cleared up and it became sunny.
Yet again this is one of those photos were the ISO is @800 from the last night, that explains the 1/3000 shutter speed :) I actually discovered the high ISO right after taking this photo and took another with ISO 200, however as it was not the brightest and sunniest of mornings I liked the higher ISO version better. Also here I found the grain actually appealing.
Postprocessing in PS:
Perspective correction, crop, minor adjustment to levels.
I also tried autolevels+auto contrast+auto color but I did not like the result as it ended up with weird colors. I liked the original almost monochrome version better.
