[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Spring arrived at this teahouse, located on the shore of Lake Tai, which is one of the five large freshwater lakes in China. I used the branch to block the strong and colorless sky and give depth to the scene. The flowers on the branch told the arrival of spring.
Depending on which horizontal line you are looking at, the house might tilt by 0 to 2 degrees. The water line does look pretty horizontal.
Camera used: Olympus C-720 Auto/Landscape mode.

Hi again Tsemin. I couldn't let this one go without my giving you credit for such a peaceful, gentle and light filled composition. A picture that should have a poem written for it. Well done. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Tsemin,
A lovely composition, where the muted colours in the back makes the blossom really stand out!
Good backlight capture, a wonderful feeling of depth and attractive reflections!
A Happy And Prosperous New Year for you and your dear ones!
Greetings,
Pablo -

What a pretty image Tsemin. You have used the branch of the tree expertly to frame the building, it is just the perfect shape. I like the misty appearance it give a lovely ambience to the image.
Cheers,
Debbie

Nice framing using the branches. Reminds me of a Chinese watercolor. Only needs the red chop in the corner.

Hi Tsemin, this is a great scene. Its well composed with great colour. Your choice of using the branch to hide the sky and provide natural framing was an excellent one. When I am unsure of my horizons I check the verticals. I did this with your shot. I copied it over and increased the size quite substantially, then I placed some rectangular marquees on it to check the verticals. It looks good.

Thanks, John

Hi Tsemin Fu!
O, how beautiful is Spring with chery blossom! The reflection in the lake shows how life starts there too - some bubles come to the surface. Very vivid pic, indeed!
