Tell us some more about this boy you've portrayed here, Todd. Did you talk to him? Did you spend time with him? Or did you just snap and run? What did his music sound like? Did he sing for you? And the buildings behind him, what are they used for? There is much here in this image, and well rendered. How many of us get to go to Lhasa. Tell us all about what you learned when you photographed this boy. -Hugh

Hi Todd,
Very interesting and informative picture, just a couple of recomendations, in the background would have been more interesting to place the Potala Palace more centered in the frame and the kid at the left side. Second, maybe if you took the picture a little under exposed to saturate a little more the colors compensating in a post production,

Hi Todd, Great shot of the kid across the road from the Potala palace... I too met this particular child on my way to the small temple in the direction he is facing. Was he as persistant with you as he was with me? In answer to Hugh (Bombilla's) question, his music sounded somthing like a rubber band/ metallic sound.
