Photographer’s Note

Another picture from the night barbecue stalls which are so colorful on one important road of Beijing. But this one is different for the main reason that I focussed on this pretty hostess. I used a long lens and a full aperture because the light was so poor, and she couldn't really see me because I was far away. After all a 200mm means 300 mm when dealing with digital cameras.

What an expression you have captured!! The quality is superb given the lighting conditions and the long focal length. The image is equally well framed leaving space on the left for your subject to look into. Nice work Izzet.

Very nice color contrast, between the warm main character and the cool background. Good DOF; the 70-200 does give a very nice bokeh.

Hello Izzet, A nicely captured portrait benefitting from the fact that your subject did not know she was being photographed. She has a natural look and is not posing. I like the golden light too.

J'adore la tonalité de celle-ci : or sur fond bleu royal. Magnifiques couleurs.

Tu dis que la lumière n'était pas bonne alors qu'elle se détache excellement! Je remarque que c'est souvent dans des conditions de lumière difficles que l'on obtient les valeurs les plus surprenantes, les contrastes de couleurs les plus osés parce qu'ils n'existent pas "au naturel". Quelquefois le mélange des températures naturel/artificiel, comme ici, est une véritable bénédiction pour les photographes.
C'est le moment que je préfère pour shooter.

Subl.ime ca, Izzet, tellement dynamique, plein d'une passion latente, on sent toute l'ambition de ce grand pays qui n'attend que l'eclatement, le debordement. Elle semble resignee, cette belle jeune femme, mais on sent aussi qu'elle se sait plus capable que son present emploi.

I like this image, the saturation of the colours is very interesting, the contrasts and the light have created a very pleasant atmosphere and warm tones, the composition is good and the scene is very natural, great shot!

Good sharpness for a 1/10th night exposure, Izzet - it was good she was day-dreaming and not moving! I like the contrast between the warm tone of the foreground light and the colder blue light in the background. It is when you achieve photographs like this that the effort in lugging your tripod around seems worthwhile. Cheers . . . David

Bazi fotograflarinizi burda gormustum hatirliyordum ama dun aksam belirtemedigim seyleri soylemek isterim, o da su ki muhtesem..İnsan sizin yaptiklarinizi gorunce yukardaki kizin ifadesi kendi yapmaya calistiklarina yansiyor malesef..
