Lady at Tien'an'men Gate

History and emotion binds the Chinese people to Tien'an'men. The gateway to the Forbidden city is indeed a place of pilgrimage for billions of Chinese who come from far and wide to see it. It is a popular place for visitors to take a photograph, posing in front of the red gates and touching the metal hemispheres.

Splendid, Arnab! The smooth surface of her face is echoed in those big brass/copper buttons. Excellently comosed and great use of complimentary colors.

Indeed the background is half the good photo and you got this red door with the yellow contrasting cupper to show the importance to be portrayed here at this particular gateway, informing this typical habit, perfect TE shot Arnab mastered with a gradiant light from right and the woman well placed in the frame.

A really nicely contrasting shot Arnab - nicely challenging approach to classical framing too - the clarity and sharpness of this image is all it should be - the colours are wonderful - rich and full......great stuff!
