Photographer’s Note
Pingyao International Photography [PIP].
An old PingYao citizen visiting the PIP, within the magnificent Reuters exhibition.
The PIP is on! A fabulous photo-festival, as big as China itself, is on right now in the old city of PingYao; one of the cutest old villages of the country and the only one remained untouched after the Mao era.
Reuters in on show, and a big one. Contact is on show too, another huge one. And every where in the city, within old temples'courtyards, abandonned diesel factories, small alleys ... thousands and thousands of pictures are on the walls for photo-fans.
The PIP is only 5 years old, and already a smashing success. All TrekEarthers should exhibit here next year. I will.

Hi Z,
Excellent shot, as usual! Nice colors and POV.
This is (almost) a Reuter's picture. Well done.
Nice artwork! Was it a graffiti?

Anne Marie,
Hi nice to see you posting new stuff on TE. This is a great image very amusing. Its a little blurred and i can see that it was taken at 1/6 at f10. This is much too larger an f stop. I think it would have been interesting to put the picture in strong focus and blurred the man using a smaller f stop maybe something f3 or so. I woould love to visit the exhibition. It sounds fascinating.
Cheers
Peter
