Photographer’s Note

One of my favorite spots in Hangzhou, the West Lake and this little place where people can enjoy the lake from very near.

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang, one of the most posperous province of China. To me, it is one of the most beautiful city in China, despite of the growing pollution due to cars. Life is really peaceful, the West Lake is an incomparable romantic place, there are some famous mountains (where you can find the well-known green tea "Longjing") and, for all urban people that most of us are, it has all the commodities you can need (bars, disco, western-style restaurants, electronic and fashion shopping centers ...)

For all travelers who plane to visit China, Hangzhou is an unavoidable place to visit, please believe me !!

This is an exquisite photo, every thing about it is great from the light and composition to the soft colours. The clouds are really nice too.

Hi Iv Ty,
Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to visit this place :S
My mum went there once n she told me how beautiful it was, especialyl the water village.
This is a stunning sunset, not at all cliched but original and well composed. Love the silhouettes. This would be perfect if the sun forms an orb just above the top of the structure.

I visited Hangzhou several weeks ago but didn't get a chance to see a sunset like this! The colours are great and your composition really shows the perfect positioning of the sun and the clouds. I wish I was still in Hanghzhou! :(
