Hi, nice picture! I guess it was taken out of a plane ? Anyhow, the very different colors of water (is it a river and the sea?) are quite interesting. However saturation etc. is a bit to much and an explanatory note would be very nice ! TFS, Mike

The peninsula looks like a computer animation of a dragon with its head splitting the sea between mud and clear water.
The smiling head of the dragon, with its green eyes, is so vibrant that you think it is really dragging the whole city behind it.
It also reminds me of 1970's ink and watercolor drawings of the Manhattan Island by Rem Koolhaus (Austrian architect).
Intentional or not, it is a nice layering of metaphors.
