Not long ago, here there are hutongs in the field, full of old buildings.
but now they were gone , for the olympic game, for the wide road.
you still can see the style of the old building in the distance.
that's the famous QianMen building.
For the olympic game, for the developing,
the road will be wider and wider,
but the old buildings will be less and less.

Your red composition is beutiful and terrible in the same time. I think to so many people that suffered and are suffering for their old homes!

What a beautiful composition. All that red enveloping the image and that red is repeated again on that person's shirt. What strikes me most is the mixture of the colours, so typical of Beijing. And the depth is impressive, with old QianMen building overlooking this desolute scenery... So much to see in this pic. Quite emotional too. Lovely pic, well done!

Beautiful compo, Mingfang - I think I'm going to adopt you as a teacher. Nobody does "desoltaion" better than you, LOL! Sorry, bad joke...;o)
I find this shot brilliant, actually the way you show the destruction of the Huton through the torn bits of RED (RED being such a symbolic color where you come from...)
This is powerful work, pregnant with symbolism and a certain lyricism. Top class stuff.

I like thhat spot of green, fragmented light, it completes the primary RGB colors so well, with a touch of spontaniety. I also like the vague light on the people. Miao miao.

I love your framing here MingFang, like a S splitting the frame.
Plus your colors are so vibrant, even the dafults enhance this photo, it's funny how the green specular light complments the other primary colors and recall the people shirts.

Its good to see that your country is gearing up to host the 'Greatest Show on Earth'. Though its a pity that the old stuctures would no longer be there. The red flag and the white frame adds a nice touch.

Waouhhhh c'est super bien vu ce pov. Assez terrible ce cadrage avec l'utilisation de ce tissu rouge.
La scène dans le fond est un peu éloignée, mais rien de grave, et en plus on a une correspondance au niveau des rouges.
Vraiment bien fait
