I just feel I am there. Very nice perspective and seems that it is much wider lens than 24mmm! Really nice photo...

This is the type of photo that makes me consider a travel.
You said you were on this road several times, please give me some tips if I can take a local bus (from which town to which one?)
Thanks.

Like you, I don't know whether to be happy or sad that things are changing as you describe them, however, as I am heading out into western Sichuan this summer, I must confess that I feel reassured. I know very well that busing it down mountain roads in China can be quite nerve-wracking.
Good composition, with the symmetry and the clouds hanging above the valley, and I like thte way you've got the winding road in there.

great picture Fan
thanks for sharing

Very interesting shot. I just returned from a trip (bus and hiking) in Yunnan, and noticed that many of the high altitude roads (that were not dirt) are made of stones about 5" to 8" wide, which would make biking extremely difficult. Was this road smoother?
I think they make the roads like I described so they will not buckle during the freeze - thaw - freeze cycle.
