Photographer’s Note

Yuyuan Gardens is an extremely crowded but must see locale in Shanghai, within walking distance of the central cbd. I found these mythological figures, near the Teahouse. I liked the color & graphism here, despite the cloudy day.

Are these figures attached to something under the water? They seem to be walking on it. The strong colours look so vibrant next to the muted background colours.

A truely telling image, which proves once more, that whatever place you try to shoot, chris has the best of it!.
