Photographer’s Note
A group of women wearing traditional Naxi costume enjoy a cultural performance in Black Dragon Pool Park, in Lijiang.
The Naxi are descended from a race of Tibetan nomads who settled in the area around Lijiang sometime before the tenth century. Until recently still a matriarchal society, they are believed to be one of the last cultures on earth who maintain a pictogram- (hieroglyphic-)based written form of language.

At first glance they look like they are at a graduation ceremony! The light is good here, their faces are in the shade but not so much that they're obscured. Nice daily life shot.

Hi Phillip,
Despite the portraits are not my strong point, I think you've managed this group portrait really well. I like the repeated elemnts and the light on their faces. I think that this woman in the left, because is a little blured, distract the attention of the viewers, but this is only an oppinion.
All the best :)
Silvia
