I love the higgledy piggledy nature of this which goes so well with the stones of all diferent shapes and sizes - the image is so un-regimented - so much to do with individuals - as Tibetan Buddhism is at many levels - there's just so much of interest here - this I'm sure would make a greast exhibition print on a larger scale - perhaps needs a little selective work on the whites which are a little burnt out but a real delight Michael!!
best wishes Kev

This is an original view from the top and it offers lot of details as always when you are on a higher level. Thanks for sharing

Hi Michael,
Exactly a puzzle with all these people on the ground, certainly between the nature stone floor. The different colours make this picture very colored.
Very well done!
John.

Yes, quite an amazing view, full of interest, and result in a good quite graphic composition.

Very good picture with terrific point of view. Do you have any close-up photo of one or two? Very interesting indeed.

Almost an abstract and still full of people. The POV is strong here and the repetitions, or at a closer look the small differences, make this shot.

Hi Michael,
Kudos for POV. It is very effective. Very interesting and superbly crafted image. It's a National Geographic material. Thanks for explanation. Compliments.

Very well seen, an interesting and unusual shot. And one that keeps you busy, studying the people, the positions they are in - and it leaves quite a lot to the imagination, since you don't see how big this square is, how many more people there are. well done, michael!

Hi Michael,
Ive always come to these sorts of scene and thought "an overheav POV would be so cool". Too bad I havent really had a chance to shoot from this POV as its obvious here that its a great one. Cool shot, nice even distribution of people, not to crowded giving a nice graphic feel to this.

This kicks ass Michael. What an amazing pov, it's like you're flying over them. Very stong image!

Michael,
Great PoV well vey well seen and i really like the square fromat. I think it enhances the cluttered nature of the shot.

Hi Michael, This is an impressive shot from high over there point of view. It looks that the worship is a good physical exercise in addition to the mental comfort. With a number of them doing the worship in different position, we can imagine the procedures. An excellent catch. Well done.

Hi Michael, this is really very nice. The PoV is excellent, and gives a very nice graphical effect. The different stages are nice as well. I wonder how it would look in a well converted B&W, although I like the colors here, never too loud. My, can you imagine that you would do a thing like this?
The square format is well chosen, and I completely agree with Kev, this would do great on print!
But I can’t help thinking: “Where’s Waldo?”

What a great photo. When I was there last, I never saw more than a couple of people prostrating at a time. The number of people makes for a great photo, plus it just how devoted the Tibetan people are to their religion. Thank you for sharing this.

Hi Michael
A very fine and unusual angle for this kind of portraits - I like the mix of people standing and laying on the ground - thanks for sharing.

Hi Michael.
Superbe cette scène de prière. Le pov donne un gros plus, et donne un côté bizarre....on dirait des petites fourmis en plein travail.
Bel effet.

Hi Michael,
I like the POV you chose here. Pilgrims and their mattresses create interesting random pattern here. Well seen and done!!!
