The Hani (best known as Aka in Laos, Thailand and Myanmar) minority are the majority among the people in Yuanyang – Luchun area numbering 1.3 million people.
In the villages, they do not have this colorful dress, but in Luchun, that is the most common dress of the women.

I am happy to view the fruits of your long march toward Yuanyang and stayed longer than just photo op to dig in for helpful information.
