Those seem very high mountains, are they really? With the river at the bottom part and letting us see the top of the mountains, this place seems to be a very profound valley. Very good picture. I also like the colours: a few levels of grey are enough here.

Just came back from that area. Beautiful, eh?
Anyway, shot is nice, but for me it just does not WOW me. The region is made for photography, but I think you missed the mark here. I guess in Guilin it's all about light...when the light is good (if sunny...everyday after 4 PM) one can get amazing results. Here, the shot looks a bit too flat for me. The mist is nice and the mountains moving off into the background work well, but I need more punch here to really be moved.
