Photographer's Note
Sitting on the western bank of Lion Sea at the mouth of Pearl River, Lotus Hill covers a total area of 2.33 square kilometers. Rich in natural spots and historical sites, Lotus Hill is so distinctive in rocks, caves, crags and cliffs that its Stone Scene is famous for that "artificial work competes for natural work inadvertently". It is such a highlight in Lingnan that it is rated as one of the Ten Typical Scenes in Guangzhou for the reputation of Holy Land of Lotus.
One of the representative scenes of Lotus Hill is a newborn landscape, Holy Land of Guangyin, which tops in two lists worldwide.

Dear Ivan, I like this picture a lot, it almost seems like you did a black & white postprocessing job on it. The statue really stands out (everything else is dark). With the people we have a scale impression. Good note.

Magnificent statue. Seems from the gold. I wonder how they have raised it and how much is old? Good shot Hydeto.
