Henry,
How did you manage this effect? It is somewhat confusing. Obviously the black and white image is a poster or something, but the depth seems quite deceptive because the man in color seems to have stepped within the black and white world! A wonderful illusion

Hi Henry,
i like the all style from your album ,
but this one is really good, because it's hard to understand where the old man is walking.
great composition from left to right.
bravo.

I just had a look through your gallery and it seems that you have a dada to reinvent images and to try to fool the viewer. I think this is the best one of the lot. And it is just excellent! You surely try to wake up our senses while trying to figure out how this is composed. The effect you created of a man in colour who seems to be entering a black and white world where passion is the key, is very intriguing and has a subtle sens of humor too. Thank you for sharing this original image!

Brilliant. The juxtaposition of colour vs black and white, the trick of perspective where the old man looks like he is going to walk behind the young couple, the contrast between youth and age, passion and daily humdrum.....it is truly a wonderful composition. I think this is the best one I have seen of your series of Hong Kong advertisement photos.

Wow, cool. The size of the couple vs the old man really messes with our sense of perspective and it seems like the man is going to walk behind them, and hence INTO the image. Also, what a cool juxtaposition of old and young.

just saw your PBase gallery. I had remembered seeing that one in the popular galleries. Great images there.
For TE, I think you should post them in larger size than here, 800pixels is the limit. I think it helps the photos look better in larger format.

Hi henry,
It’s a tough to judge what is real and what not
But it looks like it’s a billboard and the man is bypassing by
But it could be real and then I like it even more
I like it in both ways and I like the idée that you play with the reality here
Well seen and captured

I just couldn't decide to which one should I put my comment to but I choose this one cause the scene is indeed the weirdest;
I love the contrast betweent the black and white and color and contrast and mix of two white people in moment of passion and this lady of a completely different race and age. weird, strange, intriguing and interesting

Really like the juxtaposition. Old vs young; traditional vs modern, color vs BW. well done!!!!!
