Photographer’s Note
There is a corner in Causeway Bay in HK. There are over a hundred people across the road in a minute.

It is quite hard, I think, to take an original shot in Hong Kong, but you've managed to do just that...this shot is very nice indeed. I really like how you used the crowd of people to your advantage and given the slow shutter speed they look like a wave breaking at the beach. The evening atmosphere with a few lights here and there also enhances the general presentation of your image. Quite a nice shot. Well done!

Hi Simon
You have captured the manic feel of HK very well in this shot. Nice exposure of the lights and buildings in the background.

A beautiful street shot that brings the essence of what HK is. Perfect exposure and speed; congradulations.

I like the colours here. Also I like the people blurred in the shot. Here is no signs of Chinese letters that I think is a typical scenery in HK. And it makes it look very new to my eyes.

Hi Simon.
This is a beautiful image--you have exposed well for the very wide range of light available, without over-exposing any highlights, and the dynamic nature of the subject has been well captured through shutter-speed selection.
Well done.

I´ve never been in HK both somehow this is the way I´ve always imagined this city. Perfect control of the exposure time in order to achieve the blur of the people. Congratulations.

Exquisite shot, wonderful motion blur -- what speed did you use?
Congratulations, this pic really gives you the urban feel.

Very good shot, strong sense of motion captured. The advertisment for watches makes me think about time standing still - contrasts with all the people moving in a hurry! I wonder what a higher point of view would look like, say from a second floor window?

Really neat shot here...with everyone caught in a swirl past this very busy and chic looking corner of Hong Kong. It reminds me of Times Square in New York a bit. Very well done!
