Photographer’s Note

I was wandering in Kunming one (early) morning, trying to loose myself in the smallest streets to meet the people. This is what I saw. These older ladies (you don't see young ladies doing this) where exercising following intructions from an audio tape.

This is an interesting study in characters and color. There are several variations of red in this photo, but your eye is drawn immediately to the woman just off center in the bright red sweater. And, she appears to be the most enthusiastic about the exercising. I also like the way you made good use out of the reflection in the pool.

I like this picture, such a typical morning chinese scene, the reflection is really great, I wish they looked a you at this moment!
