At the site of the Terracotta Warriors, 40 km outside of Xi'an.
The army consists of more than 7,000 life-size tomb terra cotta figures of warriors and horses buried with the self-proclaimed first Emperor of Qin (Qin Shi Huang) in 210-209 BC.
I had to borrow my wife's telephoto for this one. It's always good to travel with someone who uses the same lens system!
Sharpened and cropped a little bit.

Hi Ian. This has got a nice depth of focus on the horses, getting softer going back. You did a nice job of getting the eyes of the first four lined up in a diagonal. I think it would probably be better yet if you were to crop off the bright band (windows?) at the top of the shot. That area, being so eye-catching, does draw the eye away from the main subject a bit.

I like a lot these horses
I did a wks for you, just cropping (something that I try to avoid now) and applying USM to show you how I see your picture better.
I hope you do not mind!

Joli le cadrage est vraiment intéressant comme cette petite perspective , j'aime la profondeur de champs de l'image et la couleur d'ensemble , bien vu .
