a view of shanghai skyscrapers from the bund. the sky was gorgeous the few days that i was there. i had such mixed luck with the skies across china. central china was a nightmare with smog and haze, but in eastern china i got lucky with some lovely days and nice clouds. i'm really big on skies right now and love it when i get a good day like this one. ;)

in photoshop i performed an auto-contrast and auto-color change. the auto-contrast really brought out the white clouds against the blue background. the clouds were slightly off-white still, because of haze, and the auto-color whitened them up nicely.

Whoa.. thts a marvelous snap.. looks as if cotton has been spread all over...
anyway "Welcome to TE"

Welcome to TE jenny! You have a very nice photo and good composition.

this phot is good exercise in scale. I know and have been to Shanghai. It is such a big city with monstrous skyscrapers that sits on complexes. With this picture you made them look like toys because of the cloud formation and the big area aportioned to the sky with the buildings occupying only apart of the picture. I f you cropped this to give more area to the buildings the whole atmosphere changes. That is photography for you. I did it in the Workshop.

Andre'

a nice way of capturing this nice city.. like it...

Beautiful photo Jenny, I like the colorful buildings and the sky is just fantastic, it really gives meaning to the term "sky scrapers" - very well composed with the tall sky!

Jenny, Hermoso paisaje, muy buena fotografia, me ha gustado mucho, felicidades!

Great to see a less conventional approach to capturing the Bund - a stunning contrast of the concrete/steel jungle and the liberating sky. TFS.

amazing! wow, you're really lucky! when I visited china, smog and haze welcomed me, anyway, it's a great thing that clouds can be seen now in china, great framing, nice contrast between the blues and the buildings, great composition! TFS
