This is another shot from Yuanyang, from the hillside toward the Hani minority's terraced fields.

Before the visit, I didn’t believe what my friends in Houston’s Vietnamese Photographers Club told me, “you just stay in one place. The colors will change from one hour to another hour, according to the condition of temperature, of the sun’s angle over the water surface of each field, and of the density of cloud or fog.”

Along with this, I have other snapshots during my quick passing-by over South Yuannan Province, China, on my way from Kunming to Sa Pa, Vietnam, last February 2005:

WOH, veeery beautiful landscape photo. I'm impressive with your photo and get more when reading your note. This is a beautiful terracced fields area, I hope that I'll be there in future. Thanks for posting

Nice Photo, but if this photo have more color... Green, Yealow, ... The Photo have more colorful :)

I love these landscape shots up in the clouds, Thanh. You have captured the atmosphere well. I was looking forward to a photo trip to Yunnan province a few years ago but had to put it off because of the SARS outbreak. Your pictures from Yunnan have made me even more determined to get back there some day soon. Cheers . . . David

Beautiful view, I'm always impressed by these rice field views for their excellent graphical properties, that I see in this photo too, there is also here a nice light contrast between the foreground ones and the background ones where the fog brings in an interesting blueish note. I like too the good clarity of this shot.
