Photographer’s Note
Suzhou is a water town, 60 km west of Shanghai, & is similar to Venice in Italy, with many canals & bridges. I liked the reflections. Taken with a 28mm lens, so there is some distortion on the right. I've framed & cropped for the 'postage stamp' shaped logo on the left.

Hello Chris,
I must say that's not my favorite landscape, but there is a incredible mood on this one. this bridge is like an anachronism. that's strange but interesting.
cheers

hi chris, there is "something" in this picture though one may question its quality; i dunno what that "something" is so i'll be back in a while to be more specific; anyhow - its much enough to mark this photo very nteresting;

Hi Chris,
Indeed there is some similarity with Venice, because of the canal of course but also mainly this small bridge above it. But your framing brings us back to China because you wisely included this advertisement, this reminds me of something I have seen in other places... I don't understand the text, but it could well be related to energy savings or natural resources preservation.
Have a nice day,

Fine impression of this Italian-Chinese view very nice composed and good reflection. I just miss only a person on the bridge, that would had been le moment suprême, no ?
Well done Chris

namaste chris,
very good composition backed by good reflections in the water.i like the houses(especially the one on the left with some writings on the wall and the varied colours)which are reflected in the water.the photo without the bridge would have been definitely incomplete.well seen and nice job.
regards,
ravish.

Hi Chris,
A total other image than the beautiful landscapes, but absolutely nice image here, yes maybe a bridge as in Venice or in Bruges Belgium, nice compostion and soft colours.
Well seen!

a nice image Chris.
another place I suppose I should go to, but since I always want to go back to India, I 'll need at least to be reincarnated twice ..
The distorsion isn't bothering me..

Almost a Venetzian setting of the bridge, strange contrast to the coloured wall there. Very interesting Chris.

Bonsoir Chris,
Les reflets sont tels que l'on ne voit pas l'eau.
Image très colorée qui me plait pour les climatiseurs aux façades, le petit pont enjambant la rivière et la pub au mur :-)
Bien vu !

Hi Chris,
It really is very similar to Venice. Architecture does not seem to me like Chineese. Very realistic image very sharp and all the details are visible enough.
Good job. Thanks for sharing...

Interesting find, Chris, the place looks indeed like a distant cousin of Venice. The stamp logo brings interest and color to this composition of the repetitive houses by the water. Well seen and captured.

Hi Chris,
These buildings look unusually western to my eyes, it's just the roof tops that give them away. The bridge and the writing :) is very chines though. I like the colorfoul logo and the wall of buildings. The reflections are great and the bridge connects everything, visually as well. The one yellow wall to the right adds enough color to make the right part of the picture exciting.
