Photographer's Note

This was from an early morning photo walk, a simple routine shot looking across the meadow and grazing flock shaded by snow peaked Pamir mountain range at 3700 m above sea level, north of Karakoram Range A typical Central Asian landscape home to Tadjik ethnic minority, certainly a pastoral and placid that blessedly remain unchanged for generations I think.

The whole remote scene seemed to convey utter peacefulness that has a beauty quite beyond compare which also reminds me of how lucky I am to be able to enjoy such a simple scene all alone by my self.....

Used Cokin GND and polarised to balance the sky and the result is just what I wanted to show here.

Setting: 26mm, 1/60sec, F16, ISO Raw 100, 0629 hrs
