[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the hotel I stayed at, all the walls were mud, with brillant fabric nailed on them. It was warm and cozy inside the home of the Tibetians. During the day this is a restuarant. Patrons sit on low couches at brightly decorated low tables. At night the entire extended family all sleep on the couches around the yak dung fire embers. The Tibetans rarely spoke English, yet manage to be are extemely freindly. My room had huge down comforters, and I was warm enough!

great work, I like the natural poses here, the clothing and decor is so Tibetan, well done

the flash a little harsh and focus soft, but your candid snapshots and detailed notes are always nice to come across Gloria.

This image seems slightly washed out, Gloria, but the composition is very effective with both mother and baby in strong positions. I like the immediacy of the image, too.
