Opposite the major container port of Chongqing on the Yangtze River a Chinese entrepreneur attempted to establish a sex orientated theme park. It was short lived. The site is now an odd hotchpotch of constructions housing an international battalion of entrepreneurs and the place has now been renamed 'Foreigner Street'. The ever expanding city of Chongqing rolls out to meet this area with new high-rises against a back drop of old street markets further in towards the city centres.
The person with the sweeping equipment seems to face a mammoth task...but then the waking of this sleeping giant requires everyone to do their duty.

yeah... that must be china - man does not count, what is important are those gigantic industrial constructions bringing billions of US$ income...
but again, it must be a kind of a stereotype... i guess, in photos like this one - a "human element" changes this "classical interpretation"...

The enormity of the task and the classical chinese (stereotypical) approach of "man moving mountain inches at a time" is present in your image. Besides documentary and commentary value, it has a gritty composition feel.
