Photographer's Note

Oe of my favourite places to spend a lazy day in Hong Kong is in the Bay on Lamma, not just a pleasant place to sit, but with the added interest of a constant stream of ships leaving the port. Yesterday Hong Kong Island was in permanant gloom, with Lamma, and the straights between catching a warm sun.

Hello Richard. This photo almost looks like a colored ship on black and white background. I do love the contrasts and distinction between the two.

Hello Richard,
I like the lighting situation here, with the sun shining only on the ship and illuminating it against the gray background. The tightly-packed skyscrapers and mountain make a nice background, too.

mais que ce ciel est impressionnant, une intensité augmentée par ce soliel qui réussit à atteindre ce bateau.
Une scène très bien cadrée.
