Luotiancun is a small farming community in Jiangxi province. It can be visited from Nanchang, the provincial capital (but you will have to change busses a few times). There are a few basic places to stay in the village.

There are plans to promote this place, together with two neighbouring villages, as a tourist destination, but things are still very low key.

I like this photo a lot, the arch in the wall is a great natural frame, while the opening into the narrow street creates a strange perspective, flat and deep both at the same time. good timing to capture this (if I wanted to nitpick, I'd say the patch of sky is a little distracting, without it the Escher-esque perspective would be complete).

Heel mooi landelijk tafereel prachtig gepresenteerd met de toegangspoort in de muur.
Wanneer we door deze poort kijken, ontdekken we een mooi gedetailleerd zicht op het agrarische China.

this is a very picturesque scene,seen throug the arch!I don't know if it's a good thing that it becomes more toutistic,because the villages loose their charm with the building of modern hotels!It's so beautiful like this!

Fantastic shot. I love this kind os shots which presents us pleasant typical lanes.
I'm very surprised there are no more comments, the quality of your shot is so great. Very impressive the sharpness, not only on the foreground but on the background also.
Perfect Composition with the man and the animal. I don't know how much time you were waiting to have this but you couldn't do better.
Perfect framing also and colors.
All is very good for me.

Hi Benny,

That's what I call being at the right place at the right moment. The scene is so picturesque, mostly because of the narrow street and of course, this unexpected buffalo.

Clever use of the wall passage way to frame the scene, adding a layer of authenticity and exotism.
