Photographer’s Note
One thing you see a lot of in China is outdoor hair dressers and barber shops. Xinjiang Autonomous Region, in the far west of China is no exception.
Kashgar (Kashi in Chinese) is in the west of Xinjiang - it's closer to the central Asian republics than it is to Beijing and most people here - including everyone in this photo - are not Han Chinese.

nice scene, Josh. I see, barbers have lined up for shops, which means people have no preferences for particular hair-dressers, they are quite equal in quality.
This is in West China, and interesting faces, mixed ones. Is it close to Xian?
