Photographer’s Note
A village lady carries a load in the early hours of the morning around the 'Dragon Backbone Rice Terraces' of Ping'an.
The 'Dragon Backbone Rice Terraces' are a vast region of rice terraces that stretch from the base of Longji Mountain to its summit. The terraces span an altitude between 300 meters and 1100 meters and around these parts it is said, 'Where there is soil, there is a terrace'. The Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces are an amazing sight and the culmination of both the profound wisdom and strenuous labor of the local people, the Zhuang.

Hi Dale.
I don't know how you managed this one - it appears as if you were lying on the path itself to get this low down perspective. But the effect is very evocative. There appears to be some detail in the shot, so it's not a complete silhouette. Terrific capture against the gentle light of the morning sky.
Regards,
Andrew
