Photographer’s Note
The Potala Palace is located in the centre of Lhasa, Tibet. It was the residence of Dalai Lama, until the 14th Dalai Lama fled to India. Potala Palace is now opened to tourist and also visited by thousands of Tibetan every day. I have visited here 7 years ago, but didn't do it again this time. Since the great railway from Qinghai to Lhasa was opened several years ago, tourists rushed into Tibet. It's a pity that Potala Palace's peace is broken by noisy tourists from inland of China, most of them do not believe in buddhism. However it's still such a beautiful and holy place.

Hi Wen Wen. Hen piaoliang de zhaopian. A nice, different perspective on the Potthala. A nice sky too.
I agree with your note. Lhasa as well as the rest of Tibet is in a sense a fragile place, vulnerable to heavy tourism. But I guess that's the dilemma; since it's beautiful we would like to see it ourselves - but not share it with the rest of the tourists...
Regards, Henrik.
