Photographer’s Note
Shikumen Houses,a uniquely traditional type of urban housing in Shanghai.
however, developers and architects who are aware of this value demolished a large area of Shikumen houses and rebuilt the same forms into Xintiandi , a currently fashionable area of designer shops and restraurants.
this is an old alley, where the residents live a quiet life but they are eager to improve their enviornment very much...

This shot could be called "everybody minds his own business" there's so much distance between the reader practising his favorite activity, the group of backing people and the photographer!
This is a textbook example of a tilt that works, couldn't be more accurate, I can't even imagine the photo without it, good work, Xu!

It is difficult to tell, what exactly, but I liked your photo. Can mood of calmness, can naturalness a plot... Very good choice crop.

Very nice image.. The position of the man combined with the tilt makes this a super shot.
I totally share Luko's point of vue...

Xu, I like so much the framing, the attitude of the man in the foreground and the perspective.
Everything is successful here.

The angle of your shot is excellent, Xu - to me the man looks correct, but everything else is tilted. I like the way there seems to be a crowd at the other end of the alley. The touch of red works well too. Well seen.

Almost "press" photo. Clever composition and interesting perspective. I like photos of people in the city. This one is very good.
