Photographer’s Note
Bengbu is in Anhui province about 170k west of Nanjing. A place where few Westerners visit and a place where part of old China still exists. The highspeed train from Beijing to Shanghai passes though here, most go onward to Shanghai. I will stay a few day and explore this relatively unknown city.
Here is a dusk scene where people are seeting up for the night's meal. I have left the image uncropped to catch all the small activity taking place.
