This picture is taken in Chengde, a mountain resort for the emperors. In this city are about 6 temples, all are inactive. They say this one, Puning Si, is active, but it looks like the "monks" are paid. I was lucky to be here at the end of the day and found this great shadow of the prayer bells. The picure is not cropped, only resized and sharpend. Let me know what you think.

Great composition, Etienne. Good POV. The light and shade in this shot is just excellent. Nice perspective too. Perhaps the image needs to be tilted a little to the right. Well framed.

wow ~really great work,Etienne!
it has a strong sense of order with the lines of bells and the shadows on the wall, the light is always the artist ,and what we need are the keen eyes on daily life!

Nice POV. I like the bells' shadows cast onto a white stone wall illuminated in the evening sunshine. Good element of repetition there too.

Like the scene you've captured, an interesting view of a place that 's probably photographed frequently. I agree w/a slight tilt to the right. Good shot!
