Photographer’s Note
These two await their turn as China's Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) begins. They are part of a Lion Dance parade and perform with these fans. The day is quite cold, about -7C and all involved are ready to get moving. There is a slight wind and this wall shields them some from the chill.

Hello David,
Actors suffering - it can be so hard to party. I like the contrast between their festive outfits and the look on their faces here.
On the photography side, the light seems very low and hard to manage leading some parts being slightly overexposed. Also I see why cropped into the fan on the left, but I wonder if there had been an alternative composition, which would have left that fan in. Its colours contrast well with the orange coat behind.
Wishing you a warm year of the ox.
