A well-dressed Tibetan at the 17th century Ta'er monastery near Xining city in Qinghai province. Ta'er is one of the largest lama monasteries outside present day Tibet.

Your image has stood the test of time well. No doubt he would be similarly dressed today. The vivid colours of the clothing stand out very well against the muted tones of the background. Good quality scan

Hej Gert,
Very fine colours and I particularly like the way the photo is "divided" into one yellow part and one black and red part. Good composition and an interesting documentary.

Hej Gert,
could be out of a Chines spaghetti western, I saw some similar dresses up in mongolia but added with a typical mongol hat.
It has a wonderful color.

Hello Gert, Another interesting & well reproduced image. The clothes he is wearing are not only very colourful but also very different to the ones we normally see. I also like the expression & smile on his face.
Nice shot & worth seeing
Thanks
Santo

Hello Gert. The photo pleases me very well. For me it is a kind person study. Everything at this man is worth seeing, - shoes, clothes, face. An exemplary photo. Best regards, Wolfgang.
