...wide, huge, mighty - mainly the best view is from the tibetan side... Quomolungma - or, more known, Mt. Everest is the highest peak in the world. At the tibetean side is although the highest monastry of the world, the Rongpu Monastry.. If you are standing straight in front of this massive Peak, you feel alone and to be a mighty human beeing appears to be nonrelevant...

Hi Henry,
Yes one does get the feeling here that man is small in comparison with nature. I like the rugged landscape and the majestic snow covered mountain in the background, and the monk adds a nice element of life and dot of colour to the otherwise harsh surroundings.
