Hi Cal,

Okay my friend, although I pretend I can usually identify your work, this one is a bit unexpected... Scalerman doing architecture; what's wrong with you man??... :-P)

No problem with me here, I always appreciate diversity.

The colours are crisp and the contrast between blue and yellow is a winning-combination. Maybe a couple of steps back could have allowed to see the top of the turret, but then again, you might have your back against a wall or something else; the world isn't made for photographer...

Normally there is nothing to tell about your photos since they are usually very well composed and technically superb, on this one your usual image quality is there but it's obvious you lacked angle and the wide angle added plenty of distortion. In this situation go for a stitch of several overalapping vertical images, meter and use M mode, manual focus. Then use PTGUI to stitch them, over options available but PTGUI is really straightforward. On TE Didi is the member who had developped the most elaborate stitched pictures.

Inasiajones critic makes me smile: I was thinking a bit the same. What's wrong with you man???? Hahaha! I thought one moment it could be marcdemoulin picture, in the line of his Uzbekistan serie...

Well, anyway, I like it. I don't care the distortion, no, actually, I love the distortion... your picture is a knock-out in the eyes like it is, and I don't want to see any change in it (sorry if my sincere enthusiasm is not helpful).

Your intentional distortion of the edge is very effective, I thinks.
