[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at Karakul Lake (West China bordering Pakistan) located 200km from Kashgar on the Karakoram highway. It is the highest lake in the Pamir plateau (at 3600m) and located in a desert-like landscape. The snow mountain is Mt. Muztagata (7546m). The colors there are amazing!

This is one of the most spectacular sceneries I have seen here! This mountain looks just gorgeous and the peaceful lake in foreground adds a nice touch! Maye a perspective from 1m more to the left would have been good to get more reflections from Muztagata! Nevertheless the picture is gorgeous! 5points;)!!

Hallo Sascha,
großartige Spiegelungen in diesem absolut ruhigen Gewässer. Ist das altes Holz im Vordergrund? Herzlichen Glückwunsch zu diesem Bild aus Zentralasien.

Roland

It's very cold Sasha.
I like this photo. CLear and sharp photo. Good colours. Good compositions. Stones in front enhance perspective and feeling of space.

Hi Sascha! Wonderful! Perfect relfection(what I like very much!) I wish I can go to xingjiang as soon as possible. Full of amazing landscape indeed! Thanks. Tibo

Wonderful picture PARADISE!
I am with you the colors are perfect, and of course your Comp. has made it as a perfect shot.
It seems that you have mixed two pictures, the near ground has different texture in comparing with front mountain so hase given a depth in your picture. TFS for your lovely shot.
Good Luck.

Javad.
