| A street vendor in a small alley in Kashgar. Kashgar is an oasis town in the very West of China at the junction of the Northern and the Southern Silk Road and has a very long history in trade. Kashgar is home to the muslim Uyghur community and doesn't feel like China at all. A very friendly and fascinating place. |

Interesting photo, Sascha. Good use of that break in the shadows from overhead to get the light on the vegetables and the man pulling the cart. Nice composition on the fly. The Uyghur cultures sounds fascinating, from what I've read. I'd like to go there some day. Thanks for sharing. -Hugh
