Photographer's Note
As the title subtly suggests, this is the famed Karakoram Highway, heading through the Pamirs towards Northern Pakistan from Kashgar.

Hello Andre..
This is too good to be missed. How many mountains we have here, on TE?
Half-a-million? ... More?
And yet yours is quite noticeable.
Hard to describe light on that upper part of the ridges. It's simply divine.
And then comes the 'rusty' part of it.
And it is still not enough to conquer the highest position on the 'mountains list'.
Then comes that black ribbon part of it and there you're...Riding straight on the highway to the top. Nothing but the yearning inside me...Just to be there.. Now!

Aaah, one of my dream destinations, the smooth paved road makes an interesting contrast with the super wild landscape, the noise in the sky can be corrected using a neatimage software or similar.

That road looks unreal, man. Great composition though, well balanced and great depth. Well done.
