Another nice natural portrait moment - I love a snapshot insight into daily life. This is from a less photographed area... so I really appreciate the shot. Nice light and vignette work.

It looks to me that you were not buying anything from them because I see no smiles on both faces here; were you just shooting?

Or you did buy but they were very easy in front of camera?

In any case, I always like this kind of candid shot without any pretence. Very nice detail of the shop being shown in this capture.

As I see, there would not be anything I wish to buy here, not the hotdog or softdrinks. Perhaps I would just buy drinking water in bottles.

There seems sort of an irony here! Hot dogs? Yet here they are. It caught my attention right away. Your knack for taking in the whole scene while still getting a sort of portrait feel is all here. Always interesting, and informative! Nice work, Cheers,

yes women manage the shops..be it the wayside..local market..or isolated ones at high altitude..have seen in all over the far north and north-east india...

They play such a crucial role in holding the family and finances together..

I had put forth the same thing in my posts..it something that catches the eye..worth appreciating..
