[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A group of monks taking a break from prayers to have tea.I met them in the Jokhang temple in Lhasa, the most important sanctuary of Tibetan Buddhism.
This picture from 1986 was scanned from a Kodachrome slide.

Hi Holmertz!
Five o'clock! Good scene. Nice POV and capture. Original document. Good work.
Cheers!

Hej Gert,
A very interesting picture! However, my first impression was that the dark upper part was too large so I wanted to try a cropping to reduce this seemingly uninteresting part. I tried my usual "Shadow/Highlight..." and discovered that the dark background concealed some new details that I could not see (at least on my screen). So I made a WS without cropping...

Hej Gert
Good quality, for a scanned image. Composition framed with the monks from both sids looks complete.
I've checked on two monitors(note: not calibrated) and on both the shadows looked fine. I must admit that workshop version looks bit bleak on my display(well, I should rather write it to Gunnar).
I wonder what the tea there is served with? Do you know?
Regards
Joanna
