Photographer’s Note
With an expression not unlike that of the Mona Lisa, this sweet Tibetan lady allowed herself photographed in a small bus-stop behind the Johkang Lamasery, which, together with the Potala, form the binary epicenter of the Tibetan spiritual cosmos. There is a deep story behind this face - but maybe it's as inscrutable as the woman's expression itself.

Caleb
Un très beau portrait, tout en douceur, de cette belle femme au regard un peu triste.

Hi Caleb
Nice portrait shot of this woman in colorful wear and wall as BG.
Her expression is a bit nervous. But it makes a good shot on her shyness.

Hi Caleb,
Wonderful, truly wonderful. This not so old woman has already the signs of life in her face. A kind of dreamy look, one eye more open than the other, and with a beutiful pair of lips.
The skintones are very good, very natural, excellent exposed (did you gave more light on her right eye?) and your color balance is as we might expect from you...high class..!!!
A wonderful portrait, i like it a lot. Deep respect for your work man.

Caleb,
Nice portrait of the Tibetan woman with beautiful costume. Great backdrop with local colors and flavor. I notice she only has one earring. Any explanation for that? Reminded me of the painting of “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Vermeer.

Hi Caleb!
A fine portrait of this nice woman.Good contrast of her skin tones with the background.
It looks like 3D and the composition is perfect with her placement in the frame.

What a penetrating portrait. I could look at this photo all day. A perfect balance of polarities. Full of tension and harmony at the same time. And if that sounds paradoxical, its because the image is worthy of koan. -Hugh

Hi Caleb
It certainly is a very pleasing portrait with as you say a "Mona Lisa" smile. The off centre positioning works well here and the exposure is really excellent.

Hello Caleb Colman ,
amazing composition and brust of colors. I am puzzled what I write, her look is so inocent and sparks in her eye are very apealing, May during the time of expose you will be shoked when you looked through the lense. some time I have such experience.
This is well balanced and nicely cropped presentation with the matching colors.best regards.Nadeem Khawar.
